ASO started this group out of a need expressed by many grandparents. This support group meets quarterly and we are changing the venues to cover a larger population of Portland: twice a year we’ll meet in Beaverton and twice a year we’ll meet in SE Portland. We have hosted this group 2 times now covering topics such as Special Needs Trust and an overview of autism and ASO. Our next 2009 meeting will focus on Biomedical Interventions that help people with autism. The location will be in Beaverton, date and time still TBD.
